IV-TP
The Incarcerated
Veterans Transition Program
Who is eligible to participate in an IV-TP
program?
To be eligible to participate in IV-TP,
an individual must be a veteran
and within 18 months
of release from a participation correctional institution or
facility. The term "veteran" means a person who served in the
active military, naval, air service, and who was discharged or released
there from under conditions other then dishonorable.
What services are provided through
IV-TP?
IV-TP provides comprehensive services
for veterans with an emplyment focus. Employment services may include:
- Job search
activities/counseling
- Job preparatory
training
- Classroom
training
- Job placement and follow-up
services
